One example of such a product is our DDI (Digital Drive Interface). MOVILINK DDI technology is a digital motor interface that enables data communication between the motor and the frequency inverter via a single cable. The technology consists of a separate communication channel embedded in the standard motor cable. MOVILINK DDI provides the ability to collect a wide range of sensor data from the motor for applications such as predictive maintenance, optimization of machine operation and diagnosis of problems.
